Capture Tiny Hands and Feet with WP Creations Raised Impressions

I feel like, I just held my little ones for the first time yesterday and in the blink of my eyes, they have grown up too quickly. Every time I hold their hand it reminds me of how little they were when they were born.

When my son was about 11 months I came across WP Creations at a vendor market. They captured my son’s hand and feet into a Raised Impression. To me, it was the best thing I could hold in time. Later when my daughter was born I patiently waited until she was about the same age and got her captured too!

Stage 1: Taking Impressions

Stage 2: Pouring, Sanding and Finished Product

  • As the next step, the artist took the impressions to their studio to pour and curate the impression.
  • The impression once poured is then sanded to ensure smooth edges and back.
  • Finally, it is painted. Accessories including ribbon are added. There is an option to write the baby’s name and age on the back of the ornament too.

Upgrade Options

They offer framing options for the raised impression ornaments. Options include single, double and triple window frames to display the ornament. I chose a double window frame to place both their ornaments beside each other and engraved their names and ages on the frame. Pricing varies depending on the frame.

Pricing

The impressions were fairly priced. A single impression (hand/foot) starts at $45. I spent around $65 for a multi-print (one hand and one foot impression) keepsake I chose. They accept all payment options including cash, debit, credit and electronic transfer. The price includes the choice of colour of the product, ribbon, etc.

Timelines

Product completion timelines range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the type of finish.
My son’s unframed ornament was ready in 4 weeks. If you choose to frame it, they take about 6-8 weeks. There are various options to frame the keepsakes. I only framed the impressions after my daughter’s impressions were taken. (I waited until she was 11 months to capture her impressions at the same age as my son’s 6 years apart).

In all, I had an amazing experience with the services and finished product. It is the most precious keepsake I can touch and feel my kids tiny little hands and feet. If you haven’t already, consider creating this unique keepsake.
